Trying Something (else) Awesome

Women’s Development Camp / June 2-7, 2022
Aylmer/Gatineau, Québec
BTG + Sharke Coaching Camp
$75 (subsidized)

for junior and elite women who aspire to race at a high level

What

A high value camp with coached training days around established events that are part of the new Canadian Cup Ranking.  Something awesome around a  women’s-only community event. The combination of racing and training days allows maximum impact on: testing, assessing and refining race skills.

  • Learn essential race skills & tactics from a top pro rider
  • Apply skills & tactics in race and training environments
  • Strengthen the Canadian women’s cycling community

Canadian junior and elite women riders are often rewarded for strength over tactical capability, or total racer profile.  When they progress to international racing, race-craft, skills, and team tactics become super important to success. Few have needed to use these things in racing situations. Smart camps, like this initial one,  collect strong juniors and U23 riders and teach them the building blocks of what is needed to successfully race internationally, within a team.

Why

"A great way to get ready for the National Championships!"
